I worked for 4 years as a chiropractic clinician. Then I decided that the main obstacle for the wellness industry is its lack of marketing skills and resources relative to those of businesses promoting junk food, video games, and other parts of an unhealthy lifestyle.
So I made a career pivot.
I decided to leave my clinic and spend about 15 years developing marketing skills and building a world-class marketing agency before returning to the wellness field and giving its most effective solutions the marketing they deserve.
Here are some skills I’ve studied and developed so far:
- Writing and editing blog content (via Smart Blogger)
- Email marketing and copywriting (via Smart Blogger)
- Remote online closing (via Cole Gordon)
- Data analysis with Python (via Data Camp)
- Creating a Facebook brand
- Selling physical products online
Some people have asked, “Why don’t you focus on just one thing?” My answer is simple:
I see myself as a marketing executive rather than a one-skill technician.
My purpose is to master the underlying principles of how to most effectively identify a target audience and then convert them from complete strangers into lifelong promoters of your brand. And to master the underlying fundamentals, I’m committed to constant study and hands-on experience from a variety of marketing approaches.
I will never stop learning. But I also enjoy using what I’ve learned so far to provide marketing-related services to clients who value a holistic marketing perspective.
Here is my writing portfolio:
